10 million women around the world could
die of breast cancer in the next 25 years.

100% of the
profits from this event go to the local Komen affiliate for breast cancer
awareness and research.

Over the past 13 years, Row for the
Cure regattas in 10 other cities have raised over $500,000 for local affiliates
of the Susan G. Komen Foundation
·
Races are
1,000 meters to be held on the scenic Lafayette River and out of the Robertson
Community Rowing Center in Lakewood Park Norfolk, Virginia.

ENTRY
FEES: $25/rower
Early entrants along with their sponsors will
receive a commemorative race T-shirt listing their friends and family affected by
breast cancer
(Names can be provided to the
regatta director at least 2 weeks before the event).
Crews are encouraged
to find sponsors for their boat above and beyond the entry fee. The highest sponsored crew will receive
special recognition after the event.
Sponsorship
and donations are tax deductible and should be made out to the Norfolk Rowing
Center or NRC.
