Learn to Row Classes for Beginners
HRRC holds "Learn to Row" classes for absolute beginners every summer. The classes are a great way to learn more about the sport and make new friends. There will be 4 Sweep Sessions (rowing with one oar), and 1 Sculling Session (rowing with two oars). There are 6 classes in each session. All classes will last approximately 2-3 hours. The cost for 6 classes is $200.00. Payment must be received before the first day of class or you lose your spot in the class. All sessions are limited to 10 rowers only! No rowing experience is required, but participants must be 18 or older and must know how to swim.
