DESCRIPTION:This year USRowing is combining youth and master national championships into RowFest\, held in Oklahoma City\, OK. Last year we had a group head to Indianapolis for four days of racing and fun. Please come join us this year! SUMMARY:Diamond State Masters Regatta
DESCRIPTION:Head up to Noxontown Pond\, Middletown\, Delaware for a weekend of racing. Start the day with bagpipes playing\, across the water from where they filmed Dead Poets Society. Diamond State Masters Regatta will serve as the USRowing Mid-Atlantic Regional Regatta. This buoyed course is fantastic for newer rowers as they offer novice events (races for only people who just started rowing in the past 12 months\, LTR 2023 – present). \nSmall boats will race Saturday\, followed by bigger boats (fours\, quads\, eights) racing on Sunday. Come for one day or two to enjoy one of our favorite races of the year! Great competition\, beautiful location\, vendors\, and a lot of fun hanging out with team mates before and after races. There’s a casual team dinner Saturday night for those interested.

SUMMARY:Virginia Boat Club Sprints Regatta at Robious Landing
DESCRIPTION:For those of you who are not familiar with this sprint (or master’s sprints in general)\, here are a couple things to know: \n* The official page is: http://www.rockettslandingsprints.com\n* The registration page is: https://www.regattacentral.com/regatta/?job_id=5037\n* The event is June 10th at Robious Landing Park.\n* The club covers the cost of hauling all of the equipment to the regatta. Crews will be responsible to cover their own registration fees.\n\n* There is ample viewing area (our club sets up a tent or two along the water).\n* The sprints are 1km (about a 4 minute row).  You’ve all done coached pieces longer than this\, so 1km will be no problem at all!\n* All skill levels are welcome!\n* There are usually a couple merchandise vendors with all sorts of great gear and accessories.\n* More importantly\, there is usually a gourmet popsicle vendor there. Yes\, gourmet popsicles!  You heard that right.  You won’t be disappointed.\n* In general\, it’s a fun\, relaxed day!  When not rowing\, we hang out under the tents to watch the other races and eat popsicles.
