National Learn to Row Day

The 16th-annual National Learn to Row Day sponsored by USRowing and Concept2 will take place on Saturday, June 3, 2017. Competitive and recreational rowers range in age from 12 to over 90, so it is never too early or too late to take up the sport.
Come join us for a tour of the Hampton Roads Rowing Club boathouse, learn the basics of rowing on an erg, and then hit the water with experienced rowers from local clubs for a short row. We’ll be at the boathouse from 9:00am – 12:00pm, but it will be about an hour for the tour, erg session, and then time on the water. You’re welcome to come and go as you wish.
National Learn to Row Day is a great way to see if you’d like to take the time to join one our very popular Learn to Row sessions held throughout the summer. These session are comprised of 6 classes throughout a 2 week period. We’ll have Learn to Row representatives available to talk with you if you’d like to hear more after your initial outing on the 3th! Learn more about our Learn to Row sessions.
